March Meeting

TCMDC Metal Detecting Club  will hold it's March 21st. Meeting at 6.30 PM. at The Austintown Senior Center. Coin Raffle, Basket Raffle, and 50/50 will be held. Members are still needed for various committee's. See President Ray Borosko and he will gladly force you into one. Update on our situation in Mill Creek Park will be discussed. Members have been attending various meetings. Thanks for your co-operation and courtesy. The Garrett (orange) pro pin pointers have been ordered. I will send another email if they come in before the next meeting. Cost is $100.00 per and payable to myself (Mike Marsh) either by cash or personal check. I do not want the money until they come in. Sorry for the delay but we had trouble connecting with our supplier and could not get them at that cost from another one.
Message from Bonnie: I'm still having a tough time with the hand and unfortunately limited with the use of it for yet a while longer. I'am planning on BBQ ham sandwiches for this month. Cookies and pies have been plentiful and yummy and always appreciated but I would really appreciate help with more food sides to help with this months meal. Maybe some mac and cheese, baked beans, green bean caaserole, mac/potatoe salad???  Set up and cleanup will also be appreciated. This months raffle basket theme is Easter/Spring Time. Please help with creating and building these surprise filled baskets. Again I want to thank everyone for all their support with these baskets which is always a win win situation. If you any Q's or ideas please call 724-714-1528.

COME AND JOIN THE FUN

The Tri-County Metal Detecting Club meets once a month in Austintown, Ohio at the Austintown Senior Center, located at 112 Westchester Drive, Austintown, Ohio 44515.  The meetings are run by the President and informally run under the guidelines of Roberts Rules of Order.  The meetings include an evening meal for those present and fun activities with prizes which often include silver coins.  In addition, tips and technique are discussed to better prepare the novice for detecting valuable coins, rings, jewelry and relics.  Members bring their latest finds to meetings for all to see.  Finds are judged by the membership to determine the best of finds in various categories.  As an added treat, Tokens are buried in nearby parks which when found can be turned in at club meetings for a sterling award.  In summer months the club often goes on group treasure hunts to locations chosen by the membership.  The atmosphere at club meetings and events is always cheerful and pleasant with new visitors and new members being welcomed with open arms.  New members are currently being sought.  All are welcome, both men and women, child and adult.  Come to a meeting and discover where treasures hide and fellowship abounds.
