March Meeting

Tuesday March 19th, 6:00 PM at the Austintown Senior Center, the Club will hold its Annual TCMDC Auction.  Please bring an item or items that are in good condition that you think someone else would like to have.  It does not have to be new or metal detecting related.  the meeting will start at 6:00 PM and we will be having a pizza party and members are asked to bring snack items, drinks, or deserts that do not have to be served.  Just something that can be picked up without a line forming.  We also will also be having a Chinese Auction and 50/50 raffle.  No finds contest until warmer weather, but all items found this year will be eligible.  We will again have the format where you put an item in any of the 4 categories you will receive a ticket eligible for prizes at the end of the year.  all friends, relatives and enemies are invited.  Somebody will eventually step up and sit with your enemies. LOL  Hope to see you there and please be prompt in bringing your items because there is a set up process and passing out of bidding numbers.  Hope to see you there.

COME AND JOIN THE FUN

The Tri-County Metal Detecting Club meets once a month in Austintown, Ohio at the Austintown Senior Center, located at 112 Westchester Drive, Austintown, Ohio 44515.  The meetings are run by the President and informally run under the guidelines of Roberts Rules of Order.  The meetings include an evening meal for those present and fun activities with prizes which often include silver coins.  In addition, tips and technique are discussed to better prepare the novice for detecting valuable coins, rings, jewelry and relics.  Members bring their latest finds to meetings for all to see.  Finds are judged by the membership to determine the best of finds in various categories.  As an added treat, Tokens are buried in nearby parks which when found can be turned in at club meetings for a sterling award.  In summer months the club often goes on group treasure hunts to locations chosen by the membership.  The atmosphere at club meetings and events is always cheerful and pleasant with new visitors and new members being welcomed with open arms.  New members are currently being sought.  All are welcome, both men and women, child and adult.  Come to a meeting and discover where treasures hide and fellowship abounds.
