The TCMDC Metal Detecting Club will hold it's Thanksgiving dinner/Meeting on Nov. 20th at 6:00 PM one half hour earlier than usual. The Club will provide the turkey and members are asked to bring sides, deserts or drinks. Bonnie would like mash potatoes, casseroles, vegetables, salad type dishes, pies or pumpkin rolls more than just the chips cookies.. The Club would like a more traditional type dinner than snacks.
This month will feature better prizes in the coin raffles so make sure you support those, the 50/50 and Bonnies Baskets. That all makes a better Annual Picnic.
The AT Pro Pin Pointers are in and going fast. The club was able to purchase 10 at a considerable savings. We are selling them at cost to pass on this great deal to our members
. This will be the final finds contest for the year and 3 tickets will be drawn for prizes. 1st Garett Pro pin pointer. 2nd Silver Eagle round, 3rd Walking Liberty half.

The Tri-County Metal Detecting Club meets once a month in Austintown, Ohio at the Austintown Senior Center, located at 112 Westchester Drive, Austintown, Ohio 44515. The meetings are run by the President and informally run under the guidelines of Roberts Rules of Order. The meetings include an evening meal for those present and fun activities with prizes which often include silver coins. In addition, tips and technique are discussed to better prepare the novice for detecting valuable coins, rings, jewelry and relics. Members bring their latest finds to meetings for all to see. Finds are judged by the membership to determine the best of finds in various categories. As an added treat, Tokens are buried in nearby parks which when found can be turned in at club meetings for a sterling award. In summer months the club often goes on group treasure hunts to locations chosen by the membership. The atmosphere at club meetings and events is always cheerful and pleasant with new visitors and new members being welcomed with open arms. New members are currently being sought. All are welcome, both men and women, child and adult. Come to a meeting and discover where treasures hide and fellowship abounds.
